With the 2025 WNBA season less than a week from tip-off, I put together my own top 25 player rankings headed into Friday. This is, of course, inspired by ESPN’s recently released player rankings, and while all lists of this nature are purely subjective, I thought it would be fun to lend my perspective - with a twist. I’ll be ranking all 25 players by where I would draft them in a one-season mythical league. Not only that, I will use a singular word for each athlete that I think best describes them or their game.
