2025 WNBA Mock Expansion Draft
The Golden State Valkyries are on the clock
With the 2025 WNBA Expansion Draft set to tipoff Friday, December 6th at 6:30ET on ESPN, I thought I’d drop my latest video breaking down projections for all 12 selections I think Golden State could make tonight.
Something to keep in mind while watching the draft, is that while Golden State may make twelve selections tonight, don’t expect to see all twelve of those players in the Purple and Black next season. With the 5th overall selection in the upcoming 2025 draft, as well as a host of high-priority free agents, the Golden State front office will be looking to draft a solid base of players and contracts tonight that give the team a combination of competitiveness and maneuverability. This is just but the first step in building a team, but it could give us a good indication of what Golden State wants their identity to be headed into their inaugural season.
