With the 2023/2024 Women’s college basketball season in full swing, it seemed like as good a time as any to publish our first official Round One Mock Draft. If you’ve been with us in the past, you know that we value size, athleticism and versatility over any kind of gaudy stats, although this season, there seems to be a high crossover amongst our group. Among other things, our evaluation process is highly weighted on how we view a player's skill set to transition from the collegiate level to the professional game. There are some noticeable names that didn’t make the cut because their skill set, as of today, is not at a level we deem to be first round worthy. With so many misses regarding teams and their selections, we always skew to upside potential for growth. This is not to say we don’t believe certain players won’t get drafted, of course, it’s to say that these twelve are currently the players we view to have the highest ceilings moving forward. With that said, let the debate begin!
